Thank you for visiting TheOntarioDuiLawyers.com (the “Site”), an online directory of Ontario‑based lawyers focused on driving‐under‑the‑influence (DUI) matters operated from Spain by Yosvany Cantero (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Protecting your privacy is vital. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your personal information when you use the Site, in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) of Canada and other applicable laws (e.g., Canada’s Anti‑Spam Legislation – CASL).

Note on Jurisdiction: Although our servers and owner are located in Spain, we focus exclusively on users in Canada and adhere to Canadian privacy law. Personal information may be transferred internationally; see Section 8.

  • Process payments for Premium Plans (Stripe, PayPal);
  • Provide customer support and respond to messages;
  • Perform analytics to improve functionality and content;
  • Display advertising and promotional content (including targeted ads via Google Ads and Meta Pixel);
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect rights.

6. Consent & Opt‑Out Options

  • Express Consent: You provide explicit consent when you submit forms or purchase services. We employ unchecked opt‑in boxes (no pre‑ticked boxes).
  • Marketing E‑mails: Sent under CASL with clear unsubscribe links processed within 10 business days.
  • Cookies: Browser settings or our cookie banner allow you to refuse analytics/marketing cookies.
